Commissioned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations (BZK) and in cooperation with RVO and Trifinance, we developed a practical tool. The E-Invoice Guide helps you take e-invoicing beyond just a technical 'check'. The tool shows how to get the entire organization involved.
To gain insight into the current state of e-invoicing among municipalities, water boards and provinces, S2P & More carried out a study with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). This research identified the adoption rate, challenges and opportunities of e-invoicing. This looked at support within organizations, the technical and organizational obstacles and the experiences of those involved. More than 100 municipalities, provinces and water boards participated in this study.
The insights obtained were used to write the e-invoice guide. This includes topics such as:
- arranging the right mandate within your team
- updating knowledge
- smart organization of your work processes
- connection with systems such as Peppol.
You will also receive practical tips for communicating to your suppliers, so that they will actually send electronic invoices. This way, you can make e-invoicing a smooth process that saves time and prevents errors. The content is based on practical experience, research and input from the sector. As a specialist in Source-to-Pay for the public sector, we are committed to sharing knowledge and supporting (decentralized) governments in improving financial processes. Hassle-free e-invoicing? The e-Invoice Guide helps you get started.
You can view the (Dutch) e-Invoice Guide below. You can watch the webinar about the creation of the e-Invoice Guide and practical summit via the website from the RVO. You'll be completely up to date again in 20 minutes.
